Greetings!
With so many people asking for pictures of me and updates, I became a true 21st century dog and got my very own web space!
In case you were wondering, I am a Welsh Cardigan Corgi. In Wales, that’s “Ci Liathiad”, which translates as “yard dog”. That’s because when I’m full grown I’ll be about as long as a Welsh Yard (40 in. ±). My Folks tell everyone I meet that I’m a “corgi-WITH-a-tail”!
There’s lots of differences between Welsh Cardigan Corgi’s and Pembroke Corgi’s. The Pembroke’s claim to fame is being the breed kept by the Queen of England! There’s lots of similarities too. We were both bred to herd cattle, but now we all mostly herd sheep. (We’re also great at rounding up remote controllers.) You can find out more about Cardigan Corgi’s online– my Folks suggest starting with wikipedia.
